| Me and Mini Me. |
Since I was a little kid I have always loved making things. I would make cross stitch mugs for my grandmothers and worked on hooked rugs and paint by number pictures for fun. I would also sew things with my Granny, who was a great seamstress but who can no longer sew. I didn't make things as often as I got older, but when my best friend told me she was expecting I decided to learn to knit, something I had been interested in for a while. I knit her a blanket and booties for the baby and have continued to knit beautiful (and not so fabulous) things. After having my own child I wanted to get back into sewing. Currently I knit and sew, but I am looking to acquire a few more skills.
I am a middle school science teacher, but now I am a stay at home mom. I would go a little crazy if I didn't get to make things.
